What's the difference between Tarot + Astrology readings?
Tarot is an Italian divination method dating from the 1400s. It consists of 78 pictorial cards used in layout spreads to intuitively answer questions. They are an excellent tool for tapping into our internal guidance and accessing greater awareness and perspective. They cannot predict the future with certainty but they can help show you potential options currently available to you. My Astrology Readings come in two forms- Natal Chart Readings and Year Ahead Forecasts. A Natal Chart is a snapshot of what the sky looked like at the exact moment you were born. It can help show you facets of your character, how you show up in the world, where your talents lie and where you have room for growth, what you might struggle with and where you can heal, and so much more. It can be extremely enlightening and validating. From this, forecasts can be made for what you may experience in the year ahead or themes of focus based on which Planets in the current sky will be in relationship to your Natal Planets. It is recommended to first have an understanding of your Natal Chart and then proceed with a Year Ahead Forecast, but this is not necessary. You can learn more about my Astrology Readings here.
Can Tarot / Astrology predict my future exactly?
Largely, no. We are inextricably linked in an unfathomably large cosmic web in which minute changes, decisions, and occurrences can drastically alter the course of events. Further, we all hold free will and can choose what to do with the insight Tarot and Astrology gives us in each moment. What these methods can give you, however, is an awareness of the current energies potentially surrounding you. By seeing things from a different perspective with the Tarot or by being armed with the knowledge of a certain Astrological transit, we can make more informed and aligned decisions to move forward with trust and grace.
What if my reading tells me something bad?
There are no bad Tarot cards. Each holds a message and a medicine, a lesson and an invitation within the card itself. They encapsulate the entirety of the human experience and can pick up on surrounding energies, as such- there are more challenging and more positive cards, because there are more challenging and more positive situations in life. All of my readings are delivered with the intent to empower, each card has insight with how to move through its specific energy.
Likewise with Astrology, each aspect and transit holds room for growth and learning. That doesn’t mean everything will necessarily be easy, but by moving in flow with the Universe, we can harness each experience as an opportunity rather than a struggle.
At the end of every reading, you will hopefully feel a sense of trust and comfort in your path, however far along it you may be.
