A Witchy Gift Guide

Existing across the world in a myriad of cultural ways, really there is a witch in all of us. Whether you are actively casting your magic or not, the witch is the healer and the magician, the one who uses the power of intention, presence, alignment, and co-creation with the elements to manifest. When selecting a gift for your witchy loved one, it can be a nice added touch to select something that is culturally appropriate from their lineage.

Here are my favourite witchy gifts (that I will also be gifting to myself and loved ones)!

1. ASTROLOGY GIFTS

COURSES: Why not dive straight in at the deep end and gift your astral wanderer their very own access to the stars! Allow them to uncover and decipher their own magic written in their celestial blueprint with my 101 Cosmic Guidance Course. Austin Coppock also has a great Astrological Magic course.
BOOKS: Always a beloved classic, you can’t go wrong with books! My favourite are Chris Brennan’s and Demtra George’s for Traditional Astrology, and Chani Nicholas also for Traditional Astrology at a super accessible beginner friendly level. TASCHEN also has an absolutely stunning Astrology Book.

SOFTWARE/APPS: I use Luna Astrology and love it, as well as on my phone along with the iPhemeris app which has a lower price point. Industry standards also include Astrogold for Apple and SolarFire for PC. Chani Nicholas also has a great app with daily horoscopes and lots of extra witchy magic!
ZODIAC WORKBOOKS: Here you have my selection of Zodiac Workbooks to align with the seasonal energy all year long, as well as my Beginner’s Astrology Guidebook! These are good options if you don’t want to ship a physical product and would like to have instant download.

2. TAROT GIFTS

READINGS: Again, the most personalised you can get is a 1:1 private session with me! I have a classic 10-card spread as well as New Moon and Full Moon options. All of my readings (using Tarot, Astrology, or Runes) have the option to be delivered as a digital PDF document, in a live Zoom session, or a pre-recorded video.
BOOKS: My favourite Tarot books include Holistic Tarot, 36 Secrets, Advanced Tarot Secrets, and of course the classic 78 Degrees of Wisdom. There is also our digital Beginner’s Tarot Guidebook for immediate download and TASCHEN have a beautiful coffee table book.
DECKS: A witch gift guide wouldn’t be complete without actual Tarot cards! I love this minimalist Accurate AF Tarot deck, as well as the Modern Witch Tarot Deck, Oracle decks are also a nice option if your witchy friend doesn’t read Tarot (I also do combined Oracle Readings)!
PRINTS: To bring the spirit of the Tarot into a loved ones home, offer them one of our digitally hand-drawn, custom written minimalist Tarot prints instead. They come in framed and unframed versions, as well as adorable mini postcard sizes (only available in the US).
KEEPSAKE BOX: If you read Tarot for long enough, the cards will eventually get too used to fit back into their original book, plus having a special wooden one makes them feel that much more sacred and protected (this is still something I need to get for myself)!

3. RUNE GIFTS

READING: Again, the most personalised option is a private session with me to decipher the messages of the Runes for them. Just like the other readings, there are a variety of options to suit your needs. You can also get a blank Gift Card and let them choose!
BOOKS: The material out there for Runes is much slimmer than other topics, hence why I wanted to create my own Beginner’s Guidebook. This one by Lisa Chamberlain is also a good option.
RUNE STONES: This is a lovely gift to get even if someone doesn’t already know how to read Runes! I always like the crystal options.
PERSONALISED BINDRUNE: This is a super practical witchy gift! With their own personalised sigil, they can use it to cast all the protection spells they want, consecrate sacred objects with, or add to their spell practice.

4. CRYSTALS

BOOKS: Protection crystals are a must for every witch! Here is the classic Crystal Bible by Judy Hall. We also have a Beginner’s Guidebook to 50 of the Most Popular Crystals!
CRYSTALS: Of course, actual crystals always go down a treat. You can’t go wrong with a tower, or crystal ball for scrying! I also always recommend a cleansing selenite wand or charging plate for clearing negative energy- such as this Moon phases and crescent Moon one; and a pendulum is always useful for every practicing witch, such as this rose quartz one. JEWELLERY: Many witches will often carry around protective stones or amulets with them, and crystal jewellery is a lovely and practical way to do so. I prefer minimalist bracelets (that I also use as anklets). Crystal water bottles are also good options for on the go.
SINGING BOWL: La piece de la resistance, a crystal singing bowl is a beautiful addition to any spiritualist’s repertoire (one that I have my eye on myself)!

5. MATERIA MAGICA

TALISMANS: This brand is absolutely INCREDIBLE and it is my dream to own one of their magical materia one day when shipping costs outside of the US permit, I highly recommend checking out Sphere + Sundry for all talismans and Astromagic, and wouldn’t personally trust anywhere else! Personally, this is my number wish list option and if you have to get one thing for the seasoned witch in your life- I would make it this!
WANDS: I really love the authentic feel to Daymoon Wands. Slightly unrelated but I also love a tuning fork for clearing the energy of a space and energetical attuning the subtle body! Related objects can include an athame, a cauldron, and chalice if you want to go full Hocus Pocus!
BOOKS: Oracle of LA’s Memoir of a Witch is perfect for real-world inspo, and TASCHEN also has another beautiful book on Witchcraft, you can’t go wrong with a spellbook, or one that is tied into their ancestral lineage such as Santeria, Yoruba, or Voodoo is also a nice option.
SMOKE BUNDLES: I like using rosemary, mugwort, green garden sage, and lavendar herb bundles, or ones like this Eucalyptus smoke bundle. Florida water is also always a useful option!
INCENSE: The perfect cleansing and spirit-calling tool. You can also use aura sprays for a smokeless option (I use both).
FLOWER ESSENCES: Whilst these aren’t magical per se, working with the vibrational medicinal resonance of the plant world is a lovely way to interact and connect to the plant spirit world! I personally love using flower essences.
