Mystical Magic: The Perfect Witchy Gift Guide
The perfect, mystical gift for the witches or spiritual loved one in your life can range from something more woo (such as divination tools) to more wellness themed (such as a crystal-infused sleep mist). Here is a list of my favourite picks, roughly broken down by category:
ASTROLOGY GIFTS:
The CHANI App — This is, in my opinion, the BEST Astrology app out there because it’s the only one solely created by actual Astrologers (not AI) and uses your Rising Sign as default (which *all* horoscopes are actually written for whether specified or not)!
Chris Brennan’s book, The Study of Fate and Fortune — This is the foundational cornerstone to learning Astrology well, imo (although Chani Nicholas has also written a good user-friendly beginner’s one)!
My Traditional Astrology 101 or Easy Astrology Course — If you like the way I teach Astrology, then these beginner-intermediate courses are the way to go for deepening cosmic wisdom! My approach combines sound theoretical practice with a grounded, relatable style. I also offer 1:1 readings!
Magic of I Astrological Planner — This is the go-to Astrological planner, one I’ve been a die-hard fan of since 2019 (and for whom we’ve had the pleasure of shooting content for these past 5 years too)! It’s honestly a must-have in any beginner witch repertoire!
Zodiac themed gifts — These can come in a myriad of forms, from jewellery to essential oils to just a nice Moon phase yoga mat, the world’s your oyster really here! I personally like jewellery because it’s easy to combine their corresponding crystals too, but simply a good throw fabric is also an ideal option because it’s multifunctional in home decor!
TAROT GIFTS:
Pamela Colman Smith Tarot deck — No witch gift guide is complete without this foundational deck, this Centennial Edition in a tin box is my favourite. If the person is a more advanced practitioner, you can branch out into the Thoth deck, which also combines Astrology! Or, a nice Oracle deck is also a good option (and doesn’t require pre-existing skill to read).
36 Secrets by T. Susan Chang — This is only a (decanic) walk through the Minor Arcana but WOW is it worth it, it’s absolutely wonderful and includes Astrological as well as personal observations.
My Intuitive Tarot Course — I absolutely adore this course because it combines both the Astrology and Numerology of each card! It’s focussed on archetypes and symbolism to deepen your own intuition beyond reading the cards as well. I also offer 1:1 readings!
Tarot-themed objects — Again, much like Astrology-themed gifts, these can come in an infinite variety of ways. Some of my personal favourites include Tarot t-shirts, Tarot prints, Tarot mugs, or Tarot phone cases.
SPIRITUAL GIFTS:
Moon Bath Ritual Soak — Baths are often included in spells, cord-cuttings, cleansings and releasing rituals, and this Colorado made one is so dreamy. Complete the set with the Bath Ritual Book!
My Spirit Subscription — This is a portal with over 20 hours of Witchy Workshops on everything from Full Moon Rituals to How to Read a Natal Chart, and beyond!
Crystals — Honestly, you can never have enough! You can go for crystal tools, such as a jade roller, to simple quartz towers. Not a crystal, but I’m a massive fan of Himalayan salt lamps around my home too (they’re said to help absorb impurities and release negative ions, similar to how we feel good by the sea or a waterfall).
Reiki session — You’ll have to ask for recommendations in your local area for this one! Other options include a general energy healing massage. It also depends on the person, for me a trip to our hammam is also deeply spiritually healing and cleansing. Also, looseleaf herbal teas are a spiritual practice for me! The list is endless really and I could go on and on. For more mind-body-soul connection, you might be interested in my post on Acupressure Tools.
WITCHY GIFTS:
Smoke cleansing wand — The kit of your witchy friend is never complete without one of these! As always, make sure they are ethically harvested. Natural incense and soy candles always make great options too.
Pendulum — A great, simple-to-use divination tool for quick answers and letting out the inner witch you didn’t even know was there. It makes a great first starter kit.
Tea leaf reading cup — I love my Cup of Destiny! It’s a nice, simply way to add a moment of introspection and magic to your day. Perfect for the kitchen witch or green witch.
A Spell Book — This one has 20,000 reviews on Amazon! And I have it myself too ;)
